Ilia Jones, LPC

LPC stands for Licensed Professional Counselor I graduated from Georgia State University in 1993. Since that time, I have worked in the private practice sector, and also at SummitRidge Psychiatric Hospital. At SummitRidge, I worked on both the adult and adolescent unit. I led a support group for teenagers during that time. I often speak to teacher and school counselor groups on topics related to adolescents and parenting teens. I participate in professional continuing education and have organized a peer consultation group in order to always be learning new skills and stay accountable as a counselor. My clients come from Suwanee, Duluth, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, and Lawrenceville. I believe people usually behave in the best ways they know how.
